Kotan was walking around dantooine. He had heard that there was a crystal mine somewhere on this planet, and since he had decided he should live up to his heritage, he had decided to find it, and find a crystal so he could create his first lightsaber. He kept looking. After about 5 hours of searching, he found it, because there was a sign in basic, saying Dantooine crystal mine. He walked in, and he kept walking forward, but a kinrath tried to attack him. He punched and kicked at it, but it was unfazed. He grabbed a rock as it leapt at him, and he smacked the rock into its skull, smashing it backwards and killing it.
Kotan kept walking, and he saw a corpse with a lightsaber. He ran over and picked the lightsaber up. He held it infront of him and he activated it, a blue blade popping out. He saw two more kinrath leap at him, and he sliced at them, and he cut right through them, killing them instantly. 5 more leapt, and he bisected 4 of them, and decapitated the final one. He kept running, but slicing and hacking whenever a kinrath attacked him.
He stopped when he reached all of the crystals, but he kept the lightsaber activated incase some kinrath attacked him. He looked around, and was thinking of a good crystal to pick. He kept looking around, and he was wondering if there was any good ones. He would prefer either a blue, green or even a orange one. He kept looking, then he picked up a crystal, which he knew was an adegen crystal, more specifically mephtite crystal. It was also blue coloured. He picked up a green crystal that had been beside it, and said "I will use this second one when i make my second lightsaber." He then left, but fought any kinrath that attacked him, making sure he escaped safely.
